Your time, protected first. For the clients I serve, time is the most valuable and least recoverable thing they own. Nothing tests that more than a major build. I protect your time in two ways: I handle the day-to-day, so the project never becomes your second job, and I prevent a two-year project from slowly becoming a four-year one.
One principal, accountable start to finish. You work directly with me, a licensed engineer and experienced project manager, at every level and every decision. When a job calls for more hands, I assemble a hand-picked network of experts who share my standard for discretion and quality. One relationship. One point of accountability.
Discretion as a discipline. You will not find my clients’ names or photographs of their homes anywhere on this website. Complete privacy is the standard.
Foresight. As a former claims consultant and expert witness in construction disputes, I manage your project with the foresight to avoid unnecessary disputes by structuring fair contracts and documenting a full, detailed record. If conflict does arise, your position and your money are protected.
Fluent in building the Mountain West. Altitude, remote land, wells and water rights, septic, difficult access, wildfire and snow load, and long lead times: building extraordinary structures out here is its own discipline. I’ve built my career on it. Licensed to practice engineering in Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona.

Across the U.S. market, four titles get used interchangeably, Owner's Rep, Program Management, Project Management, and Construction Management. Confusing these roles costs project owners real money. Here's how I define the distinct roles I actually play.
I act on your behalf across the entire project, from feasibility through move-in, protecting your interests at every decision.
I lead a portfolio of related projects, focused on master planning, budgeting, and building the right teams.
I run the day-to-day. Design and constructability, cost, schedule, and the coordination that keeps everyone on target.
I ensure that what gets built matches the contract documents and the standard you're paying for.
For Colorado special districts and authorities, I guide public infrastructure and the Title 32 financing that funds it.
An extraordinary property runs on specialized systems, each with its own experts. I’ve coordinated all of it, and I know these systems well enough to engage the right specialists, ask the questions that matter, and hold the work to standard.

Every Stevenson Engineering project is led personally by me, Lucas Stevenson, PE. My work spans fourteen years and both ends of the spectrum, from $100M–$800M heavy-civil infrastructure with firms like Kiewit and Shimmick, to owner’s representation on a $100M+ private estate in Cherry Hills Village.
